Description
I founded the “The Play and Shine” foundation, a pan India non-profit initiative functioning at the grassroot level using sports as a cohesive and flexible tool to foster individual and community development. We have a core team of 9 international athletes and currently we are +300 volunteers strong and have a presence across 33 cities actively involved in collaborative programs with TATA, Teach for India, Unnat Bharat Abhiyan-IIT Bombay, PIFA and many more with a vision to impact 1 million lives by the end of 2022.
-Managed 300+ volunteers across 33 cities and 10 states over a span of 2 years.
-Led a collaborative venture under the “Unnat Bharat Abhiyan-IIT Bombay” (Central Government initiative) to adopt Maharashtra's largest village and implement social upliftment measures.
-Spearheaded collaborative programs with “Teach for India”, P.I.F.A. (country’s premier football academy) and Covid SOS.
-Led a cross functional team of the TATA group to develop a pan India strategic plan to achieve an outreach of "1 MILLION" individuals by the end of 2022.
-Managed a team that created and launched a mobile application for connecting +2 Million people across the country.
-Formulated and implemented projects which scaled 300% increase in outreach over the past 1 year.
- Empaneled with United Nations Sustainability Solutions Network as one among top 72 NGO's globally.
- Selected among the top 15 women entrepreneurs in India for the STEP incubation program founded by a Harvard Alumnus.
- Adopted a Health Advocacy Program to serve 32,450+ free meals & ration kits to Covid-19 victims.
- Shortlisted among top 80 global projects for the final round of the IOC's Young Leaders Program.
